Third update (Oct 22): I did have a conversation with the organizer and they said that everyone would be refunded by November 2. And if you aren’t, call 866-822-5566.
Second important update (Oct 21): On the Facebook event for the Raleigh/Durham Balloon Festival, they updated on October 20: “UPDATED 10/20/22: Hi everyone. This event is not going to take place this weekend so a credit is being processed for everyone. Apologies for the inconvenience. This is due to original venue still not being available and an alternative location could not be secured in time. You do not need to contact us, credits will be automatic and will appear within 5 to 7 business days.”
I’m attaching a screen shot below, in case they delete the Facebook event.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: This event has been postponed until October 21st to 23rd. Here’s the message that one ticket buyer received:
Dear Guest,
We have been informed by the Meridian Community Foundation that the new Meridian Park is not going to be able to welcome any guests this weekend due to over running construction works.
Due to the park not being ready, the event will now be hosted on October 21 to 23, 2022.
All tickets are being transferred to the new dates on the day of the week specified – if you booked Friday, you will use Friday 21st October. If you booked Saturday, you will use Saturday 22nd October.
We understand that this is a huge inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding.
If the new dates do not work for you, please email balloonglowoffice@gmail.com for a full credit per terms and conditions to be issued through our ticket site Fareharbor. When you send your email, please send your name (of guest who booked), email (that we have on file) and your order number.
Apologies again for any inconvenience and we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
