Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, at 301 Goldsboro Street S, Wilson, NC, is hosting Gig in the Park, a free concert series.
It takes place every other Thursday from April 11 to June 6, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Bring a chair or blanket. There will be food trucks, along with beer and wine. No outside beverages or coolers.
Proceeds from the beverage sales, are used to maintain the whirligigs.
Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park is in Wilson, about 50 miles east of Raleigh, and features around 30 whirligigs — large, wind-powered sculptures.
