Juneteenth Celebration at RTP - Triangle on the Cheap

Research Triangle Park is hosting its annual Juneteenth celebration on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. It will take place at The Hub RTP, 3151 Elion Drive, Durham, North Carolina.

This free, multi-generational event includes:

Beats from DJ Damu
Rap performance by the Bey Boys
A set from Acisse Jay and the Gents
Dance performances by Stage Door Dance Productions
Line dancing instruction
Food and drinks for purchase from restaurants and food trucks
Yard games by Barnyard Affairs
Face painting by Paint Savvy
Community and educational booths
Cool Down and Sensory Zone
Splash pad area
Free water stations
Misting fans

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a swimsuit or splash-friendly clothing. The rain date is June 26, 2026.
