Triangle Brass Band is presenting a free concert, Brass for the Fun of it on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021, at 5 p.m., at Sertoma Amphitheater at Bond Park, 801 High House Road, Cary.
This is the opening concert of Triangle Brass Band’s 2021-22 season.
The concert will feature a variety of popular music from big bands, the Beatles and movies.

The concert will feature Zeb Jewell-Alibhai, a local jazz artist and a winner in Triangle Brass Band’s Virtual Music Competition.
Zeb Jewell-Alibhai, 16, is a junior at Durham Academy High School in Durham, North Carolina. As a young child in Portugal, he began playing classical saxophone at age six, but focused on jazz after he came to the United States. Zeb began playing trumpet at age 9, and is the recipient of the International Trumpet Guild’s Sandy Sandberg Memorial Fund Scholarship in 2021. Additionally, Zeb was Gerry and Franca Mulligan Foundation’s “Gerry’s Jazz Challenge” scholarship winner and selected as a winner in Jazz by the National YoungArts Foundation. This year, he will perform with the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra at the Monterey Jazz Festival.
