Sanford, NC invites you to dive into everything strawberry, May 11, 2024! Strawberry Jammin’ is a three-day celebration of the fruit that’s dear to many of our hearts and taste buds.
Sanford, in Lee County, is about a 45 minute drive to the southwest of Raleigh. It’s about 23 minutes to the south of Pittsboro, and about 37 minutes to the west of Fuquay-Varina. This festival is well worth the drive from wherever you are in the Triangle.
This free event features live music, a strawberry cocktail stroll, a strawberry food stroll, kids’ activities, photo opportunities, giveaways, artisans, and much more.

Highlights of Strawberry Jammin’
- 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Sanford Farmers’ Market will feature strawberry vendors, artisans and demonstrations
- 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Downtown Sanford food stroll and market, featuring more strawberries, strawberry dishes and drinks at each restaurant, and strawberry themes and merchandise at stores
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Food trucks downtown, street vendors, street music
