One of the most spectacular Christmas light displays in the Triangle is in Wake Forest. Piper Lights is the project of a family who really loves Christmas. They’re at 5725 Fixit Shop Road, Wake Forest.
In addition to the drive-through light display, there’s a Santa train you can ride, an old-fashioned candy store and visits from Santa.
The display starts Friday, November 23rd, 2018, and runs through January 3rd.
Sunday-Thursday: 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Santa will be there Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission is free, and so are the train rides, but donations are greatly appreciated to help keep the lights on. Visit the old-fashioned candy store and shop for candy, popcorn, hot chocolate, cider, t-shirts, scarves and local holiday crafts. Cash only.
