One of the most spectacular Christmas light displays in the Triangle is in Wake Forest. Piper Lights is the project of a family who really loves Christmas. They’re at 5725 Fixit Shop Road, Wake Forest.
The display includes 7 acres of lights.
In addition to the drive-through light display, there’s a Santa train you can ride, an old-fashioned candy store, and visits with Santa.
This is a free attraction.
Make sure to click on the link above for updates and schedule changes. Weather can affect the schedule.
The display starts Friday, November 29th, 2019 (the day after Thanksgiving), and runs through January 1st, 2020.
Sunday-Thursday: 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Santa will be at the candy shop daily until December 23rd:
- Sunday through Thursday: 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Bring your camera to take pictures with Santa. There’s no charge.
Pets are welcome if they don’t disrupt other guests.
The train and the store will only be open through December 24th. After that it will be a drive-through experience only.
The store is cash only!
Admission is free, and so are the train rides, but donations are greatly appreciated to help keep the lights on. Visit the old-fashioned candy store and shop for candy, popcorn, hot chocolate, cider, t-shirts, scarves and local holiday crafts. Cash only.
