The Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, is transforming into the largest indoor pop-up roller skating rink Raleigh has ever seen.
From May 21st to 23rd, 2021, Mako Medical Sk8te Raleigh invites guests to roll around the rink under a disco ball, while DJ Uniq set the mood for fun.
This time the main rink has been expanded to over 22,000 square feet, and there are two additional rinks for kids and beginners.
Morning and afternoon skate sessions are two hour long, and adult-only evening skate sessions are three hours long. Concessions available for purchase.
Face masks must be worn the entire time unless eating or drinking.
The cost:
- $13 for 2 hours of skating and roller skate rental
- $16 for 3 hours of skating and roller skate rental (adult skate)
- $10 for 2 hours of skating–BYO roller skates or inline skates
- $13 for 3 hours of skating–BYO roller skates or inline skates (adult skate)
- $3 to just watch (2 hours session)
- $5 to just watch — 3 hour adult skate
The sessions:
Friday
- Session 1 (all ages): 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Session 2 (all ages): 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Session 3 (age 18+): 9 p.m. to midnight
Saturday
- Session 1 (all ages): 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Session 2 (all ages): 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Session 3 (age 18+): 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Session 4 (age 18+): 9 p.m. to midnight
Sunday
- Session 1 (all ages): 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Session 2 (all ages): 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Session 3 (all ages): 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
