Spring Haven Farm, 5306 Homer Ruffin Road, Chapel Hill, is offering Carving Pumpkins with Goats this fall.
The event will take place from September 20 to October 31, 2023:
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Monday, October 30, and Tuesday, October 31: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fall is looking great around the Triangle, whether you’re looking for something spooky or totally kid-friendly! Admission is $13.50 per person, and pumpkins are $10. Kids age 3 and under are admitted for free.
The farm will be transformed into a magical Halloween wonderland of cornstalks and pumpkins! Take a ride on the tractor train, roast s’mores over the fire and search for gems at the mining sluice!
Pick the perfect pumpkin and then take it into the goat pasture to carve while you spend time with cute, friendly goats. All of the carving tools you need will be available.
Goats love to nibble on the insides of the pumpkins after you scoop them out. Bags will be available so that you can take the seeds home with you.
