Love outdoor music? Check out our huge day by day list of outdoor music around the Triangle! Most of the shows are free.
The concerts are free but tickets are available, and are prone to selling out.
This year, the concerts will be presented in partnership with Country Soul Songbook. The concerts will amplify historically marginalized voices in American roots music, including country, Americana, folk and rock.
The concerts will start at 7 p.m., with the lawn opening at 6 p.m. They take place on the lawn behind the Doris Duke Center. Reservations are required. Reservations will be available one week before each event.
The concerts will be broadcast live on WXDU 88.7, Duke University Radio, so if you couldn’t get tickets you can still enjoy them.
University parking fees of $2/hour apply, but only until 7 p.m. (After that, parking is free.) In the case of rain, the concerts will take place at Motorco Music Hall. Location changes will be announced by 1 p.m. on the day of the event.
Lawn chairs, picnics, and blankets are encouraged. Outside food and beverages, including beer and wine, are allowed. Food and water will be available for purchase.
