The “It’s a Wonderful Wake Forest” Historic Holiday Festival will take place on Saturday, December 4th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Wake Forest Historical Museum 414 N. Main Street, Wake Forest.
As part of the day’s festivities, the Calvin Jones House, historical museum and exhibit hall will be decorated for the holidays and open for tours. The favorite holiday film, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” will also be screened in the museum auditorium, while local musicians will perform both inside and outside the museum. In addition, the Town of Wake Forest and the Historic Preservation Commission are partnering with the Wake Forest Historic Museum to host free walking tours on Saturday, December 4th, 2021.
“It’s a Wonderful Wake Forest” is a free walking tour of the Wake Forest Historic District.

The 90-minute tour will leave every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 15 people on each tour.
It will begin and end at the Wake Forest Historical Museum, at 414 N. Main Street, Wake Forest.
Participants will learn about the developmental and architectural history of the area, and about the people who lived in the homes. The tours will not include the interior of any of the homes.
