Downtown Cary Park features an ice skating rink. You’ll find it in the Park Street Courts area of the park, near the ping pong and foosball tables.
The address of Downtown Cary Park is 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, but Park Street Courts is right at E Park Street, near S Walker Street.
It’s free to skate, and use of the skates is free as well.
It’s a fairly small rink, so there may be times when you have to wait for your turn.
At night, the rink is especially festive, admidst all the holiday lights at Downtown Cary Park.
The rink will be open from Sunday, December 1, 2024, through January 4, 2025. It will be open most days (exceptions are December 24-26, and January 1.)
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 1 to 9 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 2 to 10 p.m.
- Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Toddler Tuesday (for kids 6 and under)
- Tuesday, 4 to 9 p.m.: Sensory Friendly Skating
The rink will be closed December 24, 25, and 26, and January 1.
Other outdoor ice skating rinks in the Triangle include Fenton’s Skate the Square (also in Cary) and The RINK at Red Hat Amphitheatre, in Raleigh.
