Haw River Festival takes place Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Haywagon Stage at 1624 Jordan Drive, Saxapahaw, North Carolina. The address might show up on your GPS as in Graham, NC.
Haw River Festival is the kickoff to this season’s Saturdays in Saxapahaw concerts.

Admission is free. Donations are appreciated.
Besides the music, the festival includes:
- Farmer’s market
- Haw River Assembly Booths
- Silent auction
- Kayak raffle
- Food trucks
- Kids’ activities
- Kid canoe rides
- Puppet Parade with Paperhand Puppet Intervention (all can participate)
- River monitoring on Saxapahaw Island from 4 to 6 p.m.
Bands:
- 4:15 p.m.: Mahalo Jazz
- 5:30 p.m.: New Potatoes
- 6:45 p.m.: Travis Williams Group
Free Admission! All donations and proceeds from the raffle and silent auction benefit Haw River Assembly and their mission to defend the watershed.
This event is a fundraiser to help protect the river all year. It’s also the kickoff event for the Saxapahaw Saturday music series.
