Free Stuff Market Raleigh is organizing Free Stuff Markets in Raleigh.
At these events, participants will give away items that they no longer need, and are free to take home other people’s items that they can use. There is no money, trading, or bartering involved — everything is really free. You don’t have to bring items to give away in order to take items home.
The next Free Stuff Market takes place Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., at Parking Lot 20, 277 E. Edenton Street, Raleigh, North Carolina. The market will be in the spots closest to the corner of N Persons and E Jones Streets.
If you’re not setting up to give stuff away, please wait in the general parking lot or under the trees until 1 p.m. so that people can set up.
More information in the Facebook event.
If you’d like to give items away, just gather your items that are in good useable condition and put them into the car. At the event, park your car and open your trunk! Make sure to label anything you don’t want taken (tables, lawn chairs, etc.) You can also set up a blanket, tarp or table and lay items out.
Make sure to bring home anything that’s not taken by the end of the event.
