NC Hops Festival
NC Hops Festival takes place Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 12 to 5 p.m., at Midtown at North Hills, 4011 Cardinal at North Hills Street, Raleigh, North Carolina. It’s an afternoon of NC craft beverages, local vendors, food trucks and live music. Your $45 ticket gets you unlimited samples of North Carolina beer and cider, but use promo code triangleonthecheap to save $15.
Baseball
The Durham Bulls are at home all Father’s Day weekend, playing the Charlotte Knights. There are some special features at each game. There will be fireworks after the games on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, kids can run the bases after the game. Buy tickets here.
Soccer
There is plenty for soccer fans too! On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the NC Courage plays Orlando Pride. And on Sunday, June 18, 2023, North Carolina FC plays Monterey Bay FC. Both games are at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Raleigh Retro Gamers Summer Expo
If Dad is a video game guy, take him to Raleigh Retro Gamers Summer Expo at Moore Square in Raleigh on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and there will be 70+ vendors, games, music and food trucks.

Collectible Show
For the dad who’s a kid at heart, or who loves collectibles, the Raleigh Toys, Sports Cards, Pokémon & Hot Wheels Show is a perfect Father’s Day weekend destination. It will be at the Kerr Scott Building of the NC State Fairgrounds on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. Weekend passes are $7. The show features over 250 tables of collectibles.
Hit the Trails
Go on a hike! We have put together a photo guide to hiking twelve North Carolina State Parks. Make sure to get an early start if you’re going on the weekend, because some popular parks have been known to reach capacity.
Go to an Outdoor Concert
