For Emancipation Day, the Pope House Museum, 511 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, will be open for free weekday tours.
The tours will take place from January 2 to 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
No reservations are required. Just drop by.

In addition, enjoy Storytime with the Popes on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Pope House Museum. Storyteller Patty Cake will weave imagery and songs to tell the story of Black emancipation and determination. This is a free event.
There will also be Emancipation Day Trolley Tours on January 5 and 6, 2023, leaving from John P “Top” Greene Community Center, 401 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Raleigh, NC. The tours cost $10 and space is limited, so please make a reservation.
