The Chapel Hill community is invited to welcome the season at
the Downtown Chapel Hill Community Tree Lighting on Sunday, December 1st, 2019, at 6 p.m.
It will take place at the Memorial Garden of University Baptist Church, 100 South Columbia Street, Chapel Hill.
This is a free event.
Enjoy caroling by the church choir.
Bring your camera too — children can meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and have their pictures taken. Free and open to all.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be handing out candy canes.
The children and youth of UBC will be selling baked goods and hot chocolate during the Tree Lighting ceremony. This is the church’s annual fundraiser for International Justice Mission.
