Celebrate 35 years of Cary Sister Cities on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Cary Chamber of Commerce, 307 N Academy Street, Cary, NC.
At this free, family event, get your passport and travel to all five Cary Sister Cities.
At 4 p.m., meet outside Cary Town Hall as the sign for Cary’s newest Sister City, Bandirma, Turkey, is unveiled.
Then cross Academy St to Cary Chamber of Commerce. Pick up your passport to start your journey to 5 cities. Stop by the photo booth on the way out for a special keepsake.
At 5 p.m., Town Council Rep. Jack Smith and others will share the history of Cary Sister Cities and all that’s happening this year: Spring Daze, Children’s Festival, Lazy Daze, Le Touquet, France culinary exhange students visting and working in Cary restaurants.
From 4 to 6 p.m., enjoy beer, wine and light refreshments representing the sister cities. Easy, free parking at Cary Chamber of Commerce.
