The event begins with a performance by Cary Ballet Company, offering a preview of their upcoming Spring Works production. Audiences will be treated to a beautiful fusion of classical and contemporary choreography, featuring graceful movement, expressive storytelling, and artistry.
Following this, Leela Dance Company will take the stage with a presentation of Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form with roots tracing back thousands of years. Their performance will highlight cultural richness while also exploring complex themes around gender, race, and color with thought-provoking nuance.
