Brajboro Cow Sanctuary, at 6903 Gold Mine Loop Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a not-for-profit organization that has a mission of caring for cows for life.
Every Saturday, the sanctuary is open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The cows love visitors! If you’d like to feed the cows, you can bring bananas, carrots, cucumber and celery.
While you’re there, you can enjoy a picnic from home (there are picnic benches) and try out the slack line.
The admission fee goes toward the care of the cows. Admission is $25 for adults, with free admission for kids under age 12.
