If cooking dinner doesn’t sound like a holiday to you here’s a list of Triangle restaurants open on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, 2025. Most of these restaurants have special Thanksgiving meals. Many will fill up early, so make sure to make reservations right away. There are a few takeout options included in this list as well.
These restaurants are in all price ranges. We abandoned our “cheap stuff only” rule for this list. If you’re expecting “on the cheap” options, some won’t fit the bill! But if you value not cooking and cleaning enough, and just want to spend time with family, maybe you won’t mind splurging. And there are some bargains mixed in too.
Want to eat at home, but not cook? That’s an option too! Check out our list of Thanksgiving to-go meals! Many of these are prepared family-style, with mains, sides, and desserts, and you just need to heat them up. But you need to order in advance so don’t delay.
Restaurants in the Triangle open on Thanksgiving
Please follow each link to the restaurant’s website for information and to verify. You’ll definitely need to make a reservation at the higher-end restaurants on this list, but we’ve provided information some last-minute drop-in restaurants as well! In the case of chain restaurants, make sure to verify with the location of your choice, as plans might vary.

10th and Terrace will be serving a week-long Thanksgiving menu consisting of the following dishes:
- Turkey Sliders: roast turkey, sage stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce on a brioche bun
- Potato Croquettes: crispy mashed potato croquettes served with classic brown gravy
- Sweet Potato Casserole: roasted sweet potato with molasses, brown sugar, and marshmallows
