World Refugee Day Raleigh in Moore Square June 8

Celebrate World Refugee Day at a free, family-friendly event in Raleigh. The celebration takes place Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Moore Square, 201 S Blount Street, Raleigh, NC.

This event highlights the resilience of our immigrant and refugee neighbors.

The event will feature:

Local vendors
Food trucks
Field games
Graduation ceremony celebrating local grads
Poetry reading from Brave Histories & Hopeful Futures: Voices from a Refugee Community, Volume 3
Youth dance performance by Grupo de danza Renacer
Performance by Caique Vidal & Batuque at 5:30 p.m.
