Founded in 1974 by renowned American tuba artist and teacher, Harvey Phillips, TubaChristmas features traditional Christmas carols arranged for tuba and baritone horn players. It offers low brass players a chance to get together and perform, and a chance for audience members to sing along.
The Research Triangle TubaChristmas concert takes place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 4 p.m., at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, at 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, NC.
It’s free to attend.
Would you like to perform with the group? All low brass in the local area are welcome to play in the group. Registration is 1 p.m. at the church, and the rehearsal is at 2 p.m. Please bring a folding music stand.
Dress festively, decorate your instrument, and bring a music stand (folding is preferred.) Performer registration is $10.00 and includes one (1) 2024 TubaChristmas® commemorative button.
The coordinator is Bill White. You can email him at wr.1100.r@gmail.com or call him at 443-975-4421 with questions.
