Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC, is holding its second annual Tough as Nails Storytelling Fundraiser on Friday, June 17th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. It takes place at Honeysuckle Tea House, 8871 Pickards Meadow Road, Chapel Hill, NC.
Admission is a donation of any amount.
With a mission of creating community through the telling of stories, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC, is partnering with The Monti, who is helping them work with women of different ages, races, and backgrounds in our community to share stories along the theme of being ‘Tough as Nails’.
The evening will be hosted at Honeysuckle Tea House and begin with general mixing and mingling time. Enjoy refreshments (hors d’oeuvres provided and drinks will be available for purchase).
At 7 p.m., you’ll hear stories from five women about a time they or someone they knew were “Tough as Nails.” The goal of this event is to raise $5,000 for Habitat’s Women Build Program;
