Friends of the Durham Library generates funds for Durham County Library by selling books to the public at the Books Among Friends store, 3825 S Roxboro Street, Durham, North Carolina. They hold several sales a year.
They’ve generated over a million dollars for the Durham County Library over the past 40 years.
Next up is the Pop-Up Holiday Bargain Bazaar on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro Street, Durham, North Carolina.
There’s no admission cost and everyone is welcome.
Shop for books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games. These are items from generous donors, and they’re brand new and like-new, gift-worthy items, many still in the shrink wrap.
Items start at $3. Some will be priced higher, but still well below retail.
