Scrap Paper Shakespeare creates quality, professional theatre for audiences in the Triangle, and seeks to make classical theatre accessible to all, even to people unfamiliar with Shakespeare’s works.
Scrap Paper Shakespeare’s spring educational tour takes them around the Triangle from April 12 to May 10, 2025, for free performances of The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
At each event, at 2 p.m., Director of Education, Rebecca Ashley Jones will present a 30-minute introduction to Shakespeare and The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
Students ages 6-16 are invited to meet the cast of professional actors and learn what it takes to be a Shakespeare performer! With the help of our teaching artists, “Apprentice Players” will learn a few tricks of their own and have the opportunity to perform alongside the cast during the show!
The show begins at 2:30 p.m. and runs one hour without an intermission.
