Carolina Shakespeare is presenting Shakespeare in the Park on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., in the Museum Park at North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
This is a FREE event. No registration is required.
Carolina Shakespeare performs in full costume, presenting five 20-minute scenes from some of Shakespeare’s most well-known plays:
- Macbeth
- Romeo and Juliet
- The Taming of the Shrew
- Othello
- Much Ado About Nothing
This is a guided walking performance. Audiences travel through areas of the Park (not far from the Blue Ridge Road parking lots) to five different performance stations, experiencing each play in a unique outdoor setting. Performances begin every half hour starting at 6 p.m.
Each station will have around 30 folding chairs, but you might want to bring a lawn chair to ensure you get a seat.
