What do you do if a leg comes loose from your chair or your toaster stops working? Maybe you’d like to fix it but you don’t know how, or you don’t have the tools. This is where Repair Café comes in.
Repair Café brings together people with various skills to help to fix items and, more importantly, to pass on the knowledge.
They have periodic Repair Café Workshops where you can bring in your broken item and you’re paired with someone who knows how to fix it.
Things to be fixed:
- Furniture
- Electrical Appliances
- Toys
- Jewelry
- Non-electrical items
- … and more …
If you are skilled in repairs and would like to get involved, let them know what your specialty is.
