Raleigh Parks and City of Raleigh’s Equity and Inclusion Department are partnering to present The Original City of Raleigh Juneteenth Historical Open Mic Celebration on the Lawn.
This event, which is sponsored by the Raleigh Human Relations Commission, takes place Friday, June 16, 2023, from 8 to 10 p.m., at Carolina Pines Park, 2305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC. “Doors” open at 7 p.m.
General admission is $10 (bring your own chair.) General Admission Plus is $15 (seating provided,) and VIP Admission is $20 (see perks, below.)
This event is for all ages.
This outdoor event will feature musical performances and karaoke, games and activities for kids, and valuable lessons on the meaning of Juneteenth.
