The 9th Annual Polar Bear Run in Downtown Selma, North Carolina, takes place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Early Bird Pricing through Jan 13th:
- Adults: 18 & Over $25
- Children: 10-17 $15
- Under 10: Free
Jan 14 until day of Event Pricing:
- Adults: 18 & Over $35
- Children: 10-17 $25
- Under 10: Free
The Polar Bear Run is held to support Bailey’s Human Rescue, a local organization on a mission to eradicate the unnecessary overpopulation and euthanization of domesticated animals. Donations are welcome and appreciated!

Top male and female finishers will be awarded in multiple groups including children, eight different adult age groups, and pets too.
Runners and guests will have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat and make a visit to downtown shops while they “cool” down. Make plans to join the Town of Selma and Bailey’s Human Rescue on January 25th to support a great cause!
