Celebrate  the holiday season in Downtown Pittsboro with Pittsboro Holly Days.

We are putting together a huge list of holiday events in the Triangle, including parades, festivals, markets, Santa visits, and more. Check out our growing day by day list of holiday events in the Triangle!

Tree Lighting Celebration

The Pittsboro Tree Lighting Celebration will take place on Sunday, November 20th, 2022, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., in Downtown Pittsboro, 9 Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro.

Santa visits start at 3:30 p.m. Take your own pictures! Enjoy school choirs, carolers, shopping and more.

The festivities culminate with the lighting of an 18-foot Christmas tree at the historic Chatham County Courthouse.

Shop Small Saturday

On Saturday, November 26th, 2022, all day, celebrate Shop Small Saturday by shopping from independent businesses in Pittsboro and Chatham County. There will be sales, specials, refreshments, Shop Small Passports and a raffle. Visit the Welcome Center for free gift wrapping. Presented by Pittsboro Business Association.

First Sunday Artisan Fair

On Sunday, December 4th, 2022, from 12 to 4 p.m., there will be an artisan market featuring crafts, music and food. Shops, restaurants, and the Historical Museum will host special events.

Pittsboro Holiday Parade

Pittsboro’s Holiday Parade takes place Sunday, December 11th, 2022, from 3 to 4 p.m. It will travel along Business Highway 64 from east to west.

Presented by the Town of Pittsboro, this parade will feature marching bands, handcrafted floats, dance teams, a horse-drawn wagons and Santa.
