Peak City International Film Festival is a family-friendly film festival that takes place in downtown Apex each year in November.
The events take place at Halle Cultural Arts Center, 237 N Salem St, Apex on Friday, September 21st, and Saturday, September 22nd, 2018.
On Friday, the events start at 6 p.m., and feature a Mayor’s Reception, Red Carpet Walk, Awards, and a screening of the film Switching Gears. Tickets are $11.50 for just the Red Carpet Walk, Awards and screening of Switching Gears. $13.50 tickets include all of the above, plus the Mayor’s Reception.

The events on Saturday are free and include several film screenings and a free concert by Kaya Black. Again, all events take place at Halle Cultural Arts Center.

Carolina MediaPros Filmmaker’s Free Concert with Kaya Black

After the free screenings celebrate with live music from Kaya Black and his band. Carolina MediaPros Filmmakers’ Free Celebration honors all who submitted films to this year’s film festival. The concert will last about an hour. All who attend the concert can receive a free copy of Kaya Black’s EP CD “Everything To Me.” Mark yourself as going to the Facebook page. (Link above.) After the concert come to Kaya Black’s merchandise table, show your Id and get a free CD while supplies last.
Prior to the concert Peak City International Film Festival will show all the music videos that were submitted.
