The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership is bringing live music to downtown. Now is the time to support local business and local musicians who don’t have venues to perform in.
Save the Music is a free outdoor performance series.
On Saturday evenings, enjoy live music by a variety of talented performers along Franklin Street and the cross streets throughout downtown Chapel Hill.
The performances will take place from 6 p.m to 8 p.m.
It’s free to enjoy the music, but tips are encouraged!
Please keep social distancing in mind and do not gather around musicians. Instead, walk the length of the street to enjoy all performers, then choose a restaurant near your favorite to enjoy the music at a spaced outdoor dinner within ear shot.
Each week you can see the scheduled performers on Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership’s blog.
- Tre Charles at Epilogue
- Laura Faughtenberry in front of Blue Dogwood Public Market
- Jack the Songman at 140 West Franklin street, outside of Que Chula
- Jon Ward Beyle at the Chapel Hill Nine Market
- Stichomythia at Peace and Justice Plaza
Musicians interested in performing in this music series can submit an application here.
