The Orange County Department of Aging is giving away free fans on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Seymour Center, 2551 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
To receive a free fan you must be age 60+ or have a disability.
Fans can not be reserved and must be picked up in person. Fans will be available while supplies last.
These fan giveaway events have taken place a couple times this summer. We’ll update if we hear about another one. Orange County, NC Government announced the giveaway on Facebook.
