Apex is celebrating the 4th of July with two events: Fireworks Frenzy on July 3, 2024, and Olde Fashioned Fourth of July on July 4, 2024. Check out our list of 4th of July fireworks and celebrations in the Triangle for even more to do on the holiday weekend.
July 3rd: Fireworks Frenzy
5 to 10 p.m.
Hunter Street Park
1250 Ambergate Station, Apex, NC
Apex’ fireworks display event also features music, food trucks and a Kids Zone with inflatables and games. From 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., enjoy food trucks and fun. The fireworks are planned for 9:30 p.m.
What to know about the July 3rd event
- View the downtown parking map for walkable parking locations.
- Ambergate Station will be closed to traffic from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Hunter Street from Salem Street o Mason Street / Laura Duncan Road will be closed to traffic from 3 to 10:30 p.m.
- Bring your own chair
- Beginning after 5 p.m., you can set up chairs along Ambergate Station, at the Hunter Street Park soccer field and along Hunter Street between Salem Street and Mason Street

July 4th: Olde Fashioned Fourth of July
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Downtown Apex
This popular event features games for all ages, inflatables, the Parade of Wheels and a splash down with the Apex Fire Department. Check back soon for details. It typically takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. More info.
