Here is one fun, free event:
Saturday, February 16th, 2019
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Crank Arm Brewing Company
319 W. Davie Street, Raleigh
This is a leisurely history ride that highlights 4-5 historical sites in downtown Raleigh on an easy 7 mile route.
There will be a more off-beat Valentine themed interpretation of the sites, but the information will remain factual.
After an 1 to 1 1/2 hours of visiting sites in downtown Raleigh, Oakwood Cemetery’s Robin Simonton will tell some torrid romantic tales from Raleigh’s past.
There will be a raffle of items from the following sponsors after the ride:
- Oakwood Cemetery
- Alamo Drafthouse
- Nice Price Books
- Raleigh Wine Shop
- Oak City Cycling Project
