Le Bizarre Noir (Noir Bizarre) “Strange Black” is a play on words and reclaiming the idea that exploring works by people of color is often unbeknownst to a mainstream audience who had no idea we existed. Daniel Chavis wants to include everyone who is “strange and black” regardless of their background or sexual orientation, “offering something between Hillbillies and Hip Hop.”
Noir Bizarre is a mobile multimedia event covering the “grey” areas of Bohemia and Afrofuturist creatives. We invite the local Triangle community to experience the bohemian side of this Black Futurist manifesto in art, music, and other endeavors.
