83rd Annual NC Gourd Arts & Crafts Festival Sept. 6-7

The 83rd Annual NC Gourd Arts & Crafts Festival takes place Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, 2025, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, at NC State Fairgrounds, Holshouser Building, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh.

The theme this year is “Happy Holidays.”

Tickets are $5, with kids under 13 admitted for free.

The festival features:

Gourd workshops
Displays of gourds from around the world
Gourd competitions
Gourd crafts
Vendors of gourd seeds, crafts, art, books, t-shirts, crafting supplies, and gourds
Free craft for children under age 13, while supplies last

This is a great opportunity to shop for a unique gift.

A variety of competitive categories are awarded ribbons and prizes.
