NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is celebrating its 50th anniversary with special events throughout the state and online.
On Saturday, June 4th, 2022, there will be a celebration in Bicentennial Plaza, 1 Edenton Street, Raleigh, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This free event will feature offerings from the zoo, aquariums, museums of art, history, science, state parks, historic sites and more.
While you’re there, be sure to check out Military Appreciation Day at North Carolina Museum of History, which will be going on at the same time.
