If you haven’t seen the blockbuster hits “Barbie” or “Oppenheimer” yet, here’s your chance to see them at a big discount.
National Cinema Day is Sunday, August 27, 2023, and that means that at many theaters you can see any movie for $4. Major cinema chains AMC and Regal are participating, as well as many others.
More than 3,000 theaters, with more than 30,000 screens, are participating. Participating theaters are offering $4 tickets for every movie, every showtime, and every format. Price doesn’t include tax (or fees, if purchased from a third party service.)
Participating theater chains include AMC, Cinergy, Regal, Cinemark, and more. You can check showtimes at the theaters’ websites or on Fandango.

Some cinemas will also be offering discounted concessions. Regal is offering their small combo concession for just $4. That includes a small popcorn and small drink. Regal’s press release has more information.
