
Duke Performances is presenting Music in the Gardens, a series of FREE outdoor concerts in the beautiful setting of Sarah P. Duke Gardens, 420 Anderson Street, Durham, NC. The concerts are scheduled for Wednesday evenings from June 7 to July 5, 2023. (If more are announced, we’ll update.)

The concerts are free.
The concerts will start at 7 p.m., with the lawn opening at 6 p.m. They take place on the lawn behind the Doris Duke Center. Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-ups on the day of the event will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the event has reached capacity.
University parking fees of $2/hour apply, but only until 7 p.m. (After that, parking is free.) In the case of rain, the concerts will take place at Motorco Music Hall. Location changes will be announced by 1 p.m. on the day of the event.
Lawn chairs, picnics, and blankets are encouraged. Outside food and beverages, including beer and wine, are allowed. Food and water will be available for purchase.
