Movies Under the Stars, the very popular free, family friendly, outdoor movie series, is returning to Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Up next is The Nightmare Before Christmas on September 25, 2026, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Carolina Square Lawn, 133 W Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
This event will take place outside on the lawn behind Target and beside the Carolina Square parking deck. Look for the large orange sculpture and signs directing you to the event!
Admission is free, and Chelsea Theater is providing free popcorn. Other movie snacks will be available for purchase.
Before the film, spend time with adoptable dogs and learn about the amazing work of our local animal shelters. Maybe you’ll even meet a pup whose spirit is as bright as Zero’s!
The movie will start at 7:30 p.m.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
