Message from Choral Society of Durham:
We hope you’ll join us for our traditional sing-along of Handel’s Messiah! We’re pleased that we can finally be back together as a community to enjoy this timeless masterpiece. We’ll sing some of the excerpts from one of the most satisfying choral pieces ever written telling the story of God and humankind in epic proportions and unforgettable musical language. We’ll be joined by soloists from the Choral Society and the Duke University voice department and will be conducted by our artistic director Rodney Wynkoop. Music will be available to borrow for the sing-along, or you can bring your own copy! Can’t join us in person? We will also provide this sing-along virtually (registration link below). Once you are registered, your music will be provided to you online. This is a beautiful way to kick-off the holiday season. We hope to see you there!
