Make Music Day is a worldwide celebration of music that takes place Friday, June 21st, 2024. It’s different than a typical music festival. Make Music Day encourages everyone to join in, so many of the events are participatory.
It always takes place on Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.
There will be free music performances and music-making events in cities around the world. Locally, there’s an active Make Music community in Raleigh. Read on for some of the Make Music Raleigh events, or see them all here. You may also find updates on the Make Music Day Raleigh Facebook page.
