Lumpy’s Ice Cream, at 306 Wait Avenue, Wake Forest, is celebrating National Ice Cream Day in a big way!
On Saturday, July 17th, 2021, they will be celebrating ice cream from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with contests, games, activities, and free ice cream for kids.

First of all, all kids under age 13 get a FREE kids’ scoop of ice cream if they are wearing a mustache!
There will be a trivia contest at 5 p.m. Enter by 4:30 p.m.
There will be a spicy ice cream eating contest at 6 p.m. Enter by 5:30 p.m.
The “Kitchen Sink Challenge Contest” will take place at 7 p.m. Enter by 6:30 p.m. The prize is a t-shirt.
In addition, so much more will be going on:
- Food truck
- Sidewalk chalk
- Bluegrass band
- Hula hoops
- Cornhole
- Pictures
- And, of course, ice cream!
