The Lily Farm NC, at 1000 Benson Road, Garner, features 5 acres of daylilies within a 15-acre park. The farm features more than 1,000 varieties of lilies
.In June, they open on the weekends for Open Farm Daylily Days. We just found out about this, and in the nick of time — this weekend is the last chance for 2020.
Daylily days:
If you love lilies, you will love this. You can stroll the fields of beautiful blooms and look for your favorites. Mark them and farm personnel will get digging!

Lily orders are dug after the order is placed. If placed in the morning, they’ll be ready that afternoon. If placed later in the afternoon, they’ll be ready the next day.
Prices per clump range from $10 to $50. Each clump is a large, mature grouping of fans. Most of the clumps have multiple flower stalks and, once planted in the garden, will look like mature plants.
Within a few days of receiving them you should plant your lilies. If you have limited garden space you can pot them.
These are perennial plants, which means that, once planted, they will last many years. They are also dividable, so each clump can be divided and planted in a few areas.
Daylilies are great beginner plants, but also offer a huge range of color and shapes. They are also safe around kids and pets, as they are technically all edible.
