Lights on the Neuse features a one-mile long Christmas hayride. This 20-minute long tractor-pulled hayride brings you through the light extravaganza, with Christmas music.
Santa will not be there in 2023, but you can take a picture with his sleigh.

In addition, you can visit Santa’s Sweet Shoppe, where you can purchase hot chocolate, coffee, kettle corn, and a s’mores kit, which you can cook in the picnic area.
Lights on the Neuse 2023 Schedule
Lights on the Neuse will be open on select dates from November 24 to December 24, 2023:
- November 24-25, 2023
- Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 1 to 24, 2023
- December 20-21, 2023
Times vary per night, but on most nights the attraction is open from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $11 per person.
You don’t have to purchase tickets in advance, but it’s recommended that you do. You can purchase online timed tickets.
