40th Kwanzaa Fest in Durham Jan 1 - Triangle on the Cheap

The African American Dance Ensemble is hosting the 40th Kwanzaa Fest on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 11 to 6 p.m., at Durham Armory, 220 Foster Street, Durham, North Carolina.

The doors open at 11 a.m. and performances start at 2 p.m. This is a free event.

Enjoy performances, a marketplace, art, food and more.

Donated canned foods and toiletry items will be donated to a local nonprofit.
