El Centro’s women’s entrepreneur collective invites you to an exhibit of artisanal pieces made with handcrafted techniques like crochet (including the amirugumis), cross-stitch, Tenango style embroidery (as employed in the Otomí-Puerepechá community of Hidalgo, México), and pieces made on the traditional Mapuche Loom. Each article showcases creativity, cultural heritage, and a collective interest in preserving the art forms represented.
