UNC Area Studies Center is presenting Global Fest (formerly Africa Fest) is a celebration of culture, art and history. This free event takes place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W Main Street, Carrboro, North Carolina.

This free festival features performances and art, with food for purchase.

Schedule

1:40 to 2 p.m.: Music by DJ Noah and ASA Choreography
2 p.m.: Welcome
2:05 p.m.: Sayeh Emsemble
2:30 p.m.: Performance by UNC-Chalkaa
2:50 p.m.: DJ interlude, and prizes
3 p.m.: Laura Gonzqui and Band
3:20 p.m.: DJ interlude, with dance-offs and prizes
3:30 p.m.: Performance by Michel Mills
4 p.m.: Spivochi
4:20 p.m.: DJ interlude with dance-off and prizes
4:30 p.m.: Kaira Ba
5:30 p.m.: Music by DJ Noah
