Every year, North Carolina State Parks host First Day Hikes led by park staff. Not every state park participates, but we are listing the ones in and near the Triangle that are hosting guided walks. We will also list some First Day Hikes in city and county parks.
You should feel free to take your own hike too! Check out our photo guide to hiking in N.C. State Parks.
